The boy who knew too much: a child prodigy

This is the true story of scientific child prodigy, and former baby genius, Ainan Celeste Cawley, written by his father. It is the true story, too, of his gifted brothers and of all the Cawley family. I write also of child prodigy and genius in general: what it is, and how it is so often neglected in the modern world. As a society, we so often fail those we should most hope to see succeed: our gifted children and the gifted adults they become. Site Copyright: Valentine Cawley, 2006 +

Fundraising drive: first donation received.

On January 2nd, I launched a fundraising drive to support my continued writing of this blog on giftedness and many other matters. Today, I am happy to announce, I received my first donation.

I would like to thank Tearsunderstars, a Singaporean, and regular contributor to the comments sections of my posts, for a donation of 50 US dollars. It is much appreciated.

As I noted in my introductory post, concerning the fundraising drive: http://scientific-child-prodigy.blogspot.com/2011/01/fundraising-drive-in-support-of-my.html

I am creating a list of top donors, so that everyone will be able to see, at a glance, who are the most generous donors and which country they are from.

As of today, Singapore stands in no. 1 position, in the world, for generosity and support of giftedness, thanks to Tearsunderstars. Thank you.

Should anyone else wish to support my writing which seeks to raise awareness of giftedness and its challenges, please donate by clicking on the gold donation button on the left hand side of this page. It will take you to Pay Pal, which is a perfectly safe and simple way to donate. Thanks.

(If you would like to learn more of Ainan Celeste Cawley, 10, or his gifted brothers, Fintan, 7 and Tiarnan, 4, this month, please go to: http://scientific-child-prodigy.blogspot.com/2006/10/scientific-child-prodigy-guide.html
