Hoagies Gifted: Gifted Resources Online

Hoagies Gifted is a general resource for the parents of gifted children - and the gifted children themselves. It covers a wide range of material that could be of help to anyone trying to raise a gifted child, well - or adjust to being one, in a world that mostly just doesn't understand. From gifted education, to identifying giftedness and explaining the differences between moderately gifted, highly gifted, exceptionally gifted and profoundly gifted - and the differing needs they invoke. I have found it useful in broadening my perspective on my sons' situations.

What Hoagies Gifted is doing complements what I am doing. I am writing of my own family, as a case study of giftedness, that can help others understand what such children are like. I will look at all aspects of giftedness, in time - and all situations relating to it, that I can either observe or speak knowledgeably of. From one example, described in detail, we can learn much of the nature of giftedness, and the issues the gifted face.
